Jun 26 : Painting Roomscape with Gouache

In this class, you will learn how to paint your very own living space. This is one of Farah's fav subject to paint and although painting objects such as chairs, cabinets etc. is intimidating, in this class we will not be painting photo realistic spaces but we want to paint quirky, fun and add in your own uniqueness to bring out your style and personality. Learn the characteristic of this unique medium and the similarities it shares with watercolor. Discover mixing Gouache colors to create a unique palette, apply painting techniques and learn how to sketch lightly. At the end of the class, student will be able to apply the technique learnt in class to paint other subjects with this fun medium.

Farah Bidin is a self-taught artist, educator and founder of Paintstobrushes who live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. She started her creative journey on calligraphy. Her inspiration hugely inspired by nature and botanicals and the fact that watercolour allows her to capture the freshness of the blooms still blows her mind.
