Mar 23 : Painting Cityscapes with Gouache

In this class you will learn another water medium called Gouache to paint your very own Santorini cityscape. You'll learn the characteristic of this unique medium and the similarities it shares with watercolor. Learn how to mix gouache to create a unique palette, apply painting techniques and learn to sketch lightly using basic shapes and apply unique details to your subject to add interest to your painting. At the end of the class, you will apply the techniques learnt to paint your Santorini city that you can frame as home decor or gift them to your loved ones.

Farah Bidin is a self-taught artist, educator and founder of Paintstobrushes who live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. She started her creative journey on calligraphy. Her inspiration hugely inspired by nature and botanicals and the fact that watercolour allows her to capture the freshness of the blooms still blows her mind.
